Another quite interesting week almost in the books. Few things to talk about here, firstly, today was my first official meeting as a member of the Inspire Chapter of BNI here in Bangkok. Been waking up really early most Friday's the past month or so to attend the BNI meetings, they start at 0645 with networking until around 710am, then the meat of the meeting begins. Living in the suburbs have to wake up really early in the morning to get there before 645am, but it is well worth it because only the dedicated show up at something like BNI at 645am. Have met a lot of nice people serious about helping each other build their businesses. BNI is all about passing referrals to others based on the principle that Givers Gain. Very appropriate as it also fits my own philosophy from Zig Ziglar, the way to get what I want is to help as many other people get what they want! Excellent way to operate, the universe is a reflection of you, so just remember that. In our BNI Chapter my area is leading the Bangkok Workshop Training Business, we are Thailand's Training Connection with a group of speakers and trainers covering everything from online and offline sales and marketing, to NLP, to the Law of Attraction, Joomla and Website Setup and Maintenance, Public Speaking, Winning Presentations, Management and Leadership Development.
Another week of things don't exactly happen as you expect, what does my mom always say, we plan and God decides, so very true. But we live in the present, deal with what comes our way and then make our moves based on that. That is why everyone needs their own Plan's B and C, so that when A doesn't exactly happen you just move forward.
Last Friday spent all day with a good friend and business associate in the Aviation business, that is where I come from, having spent 20 plus years dealing with Aviation matters. These things all come in cycles, he pulled out an email I had sent him nearly 6 years ago to the day, about how we could work together, how my company could provide business development support here in Asia. Definitely never burn any bridges in your business life, here we were sitting back together in Bangkok 6 years later. All of these things go in cycles, the weeks before that I had my good friends in town from the Aircraft business, they have the hottest new concept in small to medium aircraft, a turbofan aircraft driven by a patented and unique propulsion system giving you jet speeds and prop costs. The plane will run using a short block V-8 automobile engine, the 4 seat version will cruise at 360 knots while only burning 10 gallons per hour. They have worked hard building up the funding, one investor at a time in the challenging fund raising environment. Last thing I want to mention is remember that the Law of Attraction works, be very specific in stating what you want, and the universe will give it to you. Sunday I was at the Pattaya Expats Club in Pattaya of course, someone asked to be put in contact with an alternative medicine provider to help them naturally improve their cancer condition. Today at the BNI meeting, our resident EFT Practitioner, Shalini of www.eftthailand.com stated she was looking to help people who were sick or had cancer. Both of these people were specific in what they wanted, and I was able to connect them together. I hope it works out for the best.
